Already noted for their highly successful Memorabilia Fair at the NEC in Birmingham, MCM are looking to expand on the popularity of the comic convention by holding a simultaneous event next to the Memorabilia hall.  Until the arrival of the Birmingham International Comics Show, there was very little in the way of mainstream convention activity serving the Midlands which is a travesty given that there is a larger catchment within a hundred mile radius than even London can manage.

Running at the NEC on the weekend of 31st March to the 1st April 2012, the new show will feature everything from cosplay and comics to DDR and the latest videogames whilst letting the Memorabilia do what it does best in the hall next door.  Perhaps best of all is the cost; entrance to both events fall under one ticket priced at £10 making it a virtual steal.  If the event is as well organised as the others, then we should certainly put this one on the list for 2012.
